Our Mission
St. James AME Church is dedicated to serving the Lord and helping those in need. It's our mission is to minister to the social, spiritual, and physical development of all. We invite everyone in Kinston and the surrounding communities to explore their faith by joining us in weekly worship and upcoming events.
We hope that all people will feel loved and welcomed at St. James. Once here, we pray that people will meet God. As a result of meeting God, they will give their lives to Jesus. While browsing our website, you will learn about our programs and get a glimpse of who we are, but only a glimpse. To fully understand us, join us for an uplifting, Spirit-filled worship service.
